Bryndwr church building walk-through: We have arranged a walk-through in the new Bryndwr church building for Sunday, 11 December, at 2pm. Afternoon tea will follow at Anne and Martin’s place next door from 2.30pm. We hope people will take the opportunity to come and have a look. As it is still a building site we will need to adhere to health and safety instructions.

Clothing Shop at Bryndwr: This is now closed for the holidays. Business will resume on Saturday, 22 January 2017.
Birthday Offering: At The Village we have a practice of offering a special thank-you to God and God’s work in celebration of our birthdays. In the March issue of The Village News you should have received envelopes, for those in your household, for this purpose. If for any reason you don’t have an envelope please contact either office. The suggestion was made that you might like to include $1 for every year you have been alive, but if this limits or stretches you too much then please remember this is a suggestion only.
On our birthdays we are often the recipient of much generosity and kindness. This invitation enables you to offer something back in thankfulness, if you wish to do so.
These envelopes can be placed in the offerings on Sunday’s or dropped into either office, or given to your visitor if that is an easier method of getting them to the church.
Need to do some Christmas Shopping? The Village Community Centre is partnering with ‘The Warehouse Bags for Good’ to support the Kids’ Club after-school programme. The Warehouse at Northlands Mall (only) is donating proceeds from the purchase of checkout bags to the Kids’ Club. Pick up a voting token at the end of the checkout lines, and place the token into the slot marked The Village Community Centre by the store’s entrance/exit. Tokens can be placed in The Village Community Centre’s voting container until the end of January 2017.
