February Birthdays: February birthdays will be celebrated on Friday 16th February at Thai Garden, 484 Cranford Street, 6.30 pm. If you are a newcomer and have a birthday in February and would like to come and join us, then please telephone Anne Foote.
Women’s Fellowship: We will start the year by meeting together for morning tea on 17 February at ‘Strange Bandits Cafe’, 175 Roydvale Ave at 10 am. There is plenty of off-road car parking at the back of the cafe and the food looks delicious! Any enquiries and RSVP to Catherine McKellar.
Zumba Gold Fitness @ Papanui: This is fun, low impact exercise for active older adults and beginners that lets you move to the beat at your own pace. This has now moved to The Village Papanui and is held every Monday 12.30 to 1.30 pm, at Cost $5. For more information contact the instructor, Mel, on 021 216 5039. Come along and join us for a fun-filled hour of exercise.

Bryndwr’s Got Talent: For the second year this family friendly talent show will be held at the Bryndwr Street Party, Sunday 4th March. With $500 in prizes, if you are interested taking part, please talk to Kate Boardman or contact Leone for the registration form (due 22 Feb).
The Buddy Zone: The Buddy Zone aims to provide a safe, fun, learning environment for all children with social deficits, social anxiety and self- confidence problems. The Buddy Zone will enable these children to feel comfortable and socially accepted without feeling misunderstood. The group, comprising a maximum of 10 children per session, will be held weekly on Wednesday at 4.15 – 5.15pm at The Village, Bryndwr. Adapted Yoga/Pilates: These mixed Yoga and Pilates classes are fun and relaxed, catering for different needs and fitness levels. There are no fancy outfits just friendly, fun and supportive people who want a relaxed community where they can also achieve their goals. There are a total of 7 hour long classes available to choose from weekly at The Village Bryndwr: Monday 6.15pm and 7.30pm, Tuesday 8.30am, Thursday 6.15pm and 7.30pm, Friday 9.30am, and Saturday 4pm.
