2018 Calendars: Martin has prepared these as a fundraiser for The Village on the theme of ‘Wonder’. They are still available at a discounted rate.

February Birthdays: February birthdays will be celebrated on Friday 16th February at Thai Garden, 484 Cranford Street, 6.30 pm. If you are a newcomer and have a birthday in February and would like to come and join us, then please telephone Anne Foote.

Women’s Fellowship: We will start the year by meeting together for morning tea on 17 February at ‘Strange Bandits Cafe’, 175 Roydvale Ave at 10 am. There is plenty of off-road car parking at the back of the cafe and the food looks delicious! Any enquiries and RSVP to Catherine McKellar.

Music Moments Papanui:  recommences at 9.30am on Monday 12 February. New families are welcome.

Zumba Gold Fitness @ Papanui: This is fun, low impact exercise for active older adults and beginners that lets you move to the beat at your own pace. This is now at The Village Papanui and is held every Monday 12.30 to 1.30 pm, at Cost $5.  For more information contact the instructor, Mel, on 021 216 5039.  Come along and join us for a fun-filled hour of exercise.

Clothing Shop Volunteers needed: The Clothing shop will be open on Friday afternoons between 3 and 6pm from 2 March and volunteers are needed to help be able to provide this service to the Community.

Two people work together sorting clothing that has been donated, tidying the racks and serving customers.

We are also looking for a few more helpers for Saturday mornings from from  9.15pm to 12 noon.

If you can give some time once a month please contact Janice Cundall or Adrienne Rowe.  Your help will be much appreciated.

Bryndwr’s Got Talent: For the second year this family friendly talent show will be held at the Bryndwr Street Party, Sunday 4th March. With $500 in prizes, if you are interested taking part, please talk to Kate Boardman or contact Leone for the registration form (due 22 Feb).

Adapted Yoga/Pilates:  These mixed Yoga and Pilates classes are fun and relaxed, catering for different needs and fitness levels. There are no fancy outfits just friendly, fun and supportive people who want a relaxed community where they can also achieve their goals.
