Clothing Shop: The Clothing shop at Bryndwr is open 3 to 6pm on Fridays for a trial period.  We are very short of helpers so if you could help out one Friday a month it would be much appreciated.  Please let Janice Cundall know, or Adrienne Rowe, if you are able to help.

Indoor Bowls @ Bryndwr: The Village Bowling Club starts the new bowls season on March 19th at Bryndwr.  New players will be most welcome and tuition can be given if you have never played before.  It is a very social group and only mildly competitive. Please wear soft soled shoes (eg sneakers) and be there at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.  Contact Mitch Mitchell or Janice Cundall for any queries.

Indoor Bowls: Join us at Papanui on a Friday afternoon from 1.30 to 3.00 pm, for a social game of indoor bowls.  No previous experience needed.  Please be there by 1.15 pm and wear flat, soft-soled shoes.  Specially catering for those who can’t come to evening bowls at Bryndwr. Contact Margaret Shields for further details.

Falls Prevention Exercise Group:  Anyone wanting to learn skills to help avoid falls, is welcome to join us for the programme which runs at Papanui.  Our first session is Monday 19th March at 2pm. $2 per session.

Table Talk presents: Presbyterian Support is coming to Table Talk, to tell us about what they are doing. Sunday 18th March, at the Village Papanui.  Dinner at 6pm, followed by the speaker at 7pm.  It would be great to see you there.  If you are coming, could you please let either Linda Cowan, Annie and Kate Boardman, or Frik and Hannie de Beer know, for catering purposes.

Easter eggs for Pillars: As we have done in previous years, this year we are collecting Easter eggs to be sent to Pillars who distribute them to the families of prisoners.

Eggs can be brought to church up to and including Palm Sunday, March 25th, or left at either Bryndwr or Papanui office.

What seems like such a small thing for us is so appreciated by these often forgotten families and we thank you for your continued support of this project.
