Cheese rolls – 9th/10th June:  The rolls will be made 9am on Saturday 9th June at Bryndwr.  Pick-up from Bryndwr 11am and 12 noon on the 9th, or from church on Sunday 10th June.  Price: $5 for 6 rolls, or $10 for 12 rolls.  There is a coffee voucher to give to whoever places the biggest order!  If you would like to be part of the team making the rolls please indicate this on the clipboard.

Food Parcels and Hygiene Packs: A big thank you to all who contribute items for Burnside Primary School. Currently the most needed items are:  Canned spaghetti and baked beans, canned vegetables (corn, tomatoes) and canned fruit, pasta, rice, canned tuna fish, breakfast cereal, toilet paper, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, shampoo and dishwashing liquid. Parcels are distributed by school staff to families where children are not coming to school because there is no food in the house to make lunches, or if the school is aware of special need.  Thank you for your continued support!

Indoor Bowls @ Bryndwr:  New players are most welcome and tuition can be given if you have never played before.  It is a very social group and only mildly competitive. Please wear soft soled shoes (eg sneakers) and be there at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.  Contact Mitch Mitchell or Janice Cundall for any queries.

Indoor Bowls: Join us at Papanui on a Friday afternoon 1.30pm to 3.00pm, for a social game of indoor bowls.  No previous experience needed.  Please be there by 1.15 pm and wear flat, soft-soled shoes.    Contact Margaret Shields for further details.

 Zumba Gold Fitness @ Papanui: This is fun, low impact exercise for active older adults and beginners that lets you move to the beat at your own pace. This is now at The Village Papanui and is held every Monday 12.30 to 1.30 pm, cost $6.  For more information contact the instructor, Mele, on 021 216 5039.  Come along and join us for a fun-filled hour of exercise. 

 Adapted Yoga/Pilates:  These mixed Yoga and Pilates classes are fun and relaxed, catering for different needs and fitness levels.
