The Creative Nest Exhibition: The display is open at our Papanui building 10am-4pm every day, until October 19th. The exhibition tells the story of The Nest but also invites you into an engagement with your own creative possibilities. A koha donation towards costs would be appreciated. Please see this as an opportunity to take a friend along, it is a great story!

Film Night: We are having a quiet showing of a Welsh film while we have the Pontypridd Rev among us!! It will be held at Bryndwr on Thursday 18 October gathering from 7pm with the movie starting at 7.30pm. BYO drinks and nibbles!
The Village Annual Meeting 2018: Will be held on Sunday 28 October at The Village Bryndwr after worship at St Andrew’s College. This will also be Phil’s last Sunday with us so there will be a shared lunch following the meeting.

The Village Camp 2018: Will be at Raincliff (South Canterbury) on Show weekend, 16-18 November. There is plenty of room and unless we get huge numbers there should be no need to share rooms. This is a great opportunity to really connect with people and ‘play, pray and enjoy’ one another in a relaxed setting, and for a minimal cost. Queries to Kath Newton or Anne Stewart.
High Tea (November 24th): If you would be happy to lend us some of your fine china etc, please write your name on the clipboard at the back of the Chapel. We are asking for cup, saucer and plate sets, silver tea services, or similar in china, tiered plates (2 or 3 tiers).
At this stage please just indicate your willingness to lend and the number you have. We will be in touch nearer the time regarding collection. We would ask that you please name these valuables. Many thanks – from the High Tea Committee.
Youth Hub Variety Concert: Enjoy a fabulous night of entertainment and help raise funds for the development of the Youth Hub Christchurch Te Hurihanga o Rangatahi – a place where young people will feel accepted and experience warm loving support in the development of their identity, and physical, mental, social and spiritual health.

Transport to Sunday 10am worship: We are looking at ways we might be able to help people with transport to church on Sundays. The ability to help with transport would need to be matched with people able to help provide it. There is a clipboard available for people to indicate either their need or their willingness to help, we will do what we can to form useful alliances.
Car parking: We remind people to please leave the parking spaces around the entrance way at StAC, for people who have mobility challenges.
