The Village Market: Our next market is on Saturday 5th May from 9.30am-12 noon. We have the usual things to buy, clothing shop, a craft to make and koha coffee. It would be great if you were able to come along (bring a friend or two) to join in and hang out!
If you have any household goods, furniture, clothing, books etc which you would like to donate, please contact either of the offices to arrange pick-up. Alternatively, you can drop smaller items into Papanui or Bryndwr offices.

Sing for the World: Knox Church Centre, Bealey Ave. Tuesday 21st May, 7-9pm. Bring your voice, your heart and your desire to sing ‘Songs for the World’ led by John Bell. Koha
John Bell is a Resource Worker with The Iona Community, Scotland. He is a hymn writer, author and occasional broadcaster, but retains a primary passion for congregational song. John is based in Glasgow and works with his colleagues in the areas of music, worship and spirituality.
News from The Creative Nest: The usual drop in program resumes after the school holidays on April 29th.
On Friday 10th May at 7:30pm there will be a writing workshop at the Nest. The guest facilitator will be author Jane Hole. There will also be time for participants share ideas and questions re the writing process, including themes, creating writing clusters, self-publishing. Anyone interested in writing is welcome. A small koha would be appreciated.
On Tuesday May 14th (start time 10.30am) there will be a mini workshop making gift boxes suitable for chocolate slabs, diaries or address books as well as other gift boxes. The usual drop in and have a go activities will run concurrently from 10:00am.
