Quiz Night: On Saturday August 17th we are holding a Quiz night in The Common at Bryndwr starting at 6.30pm.
Please consider coming or making up a team. We will begin with a pizza tea/chips. Koha to cover this. Any queries please contact either office.

Christchurch City Mission Foodbank Appeal: “This year, you can help your community beat winter with the Christchurch City Mission Foodbank Appeal! Find your bag in your local New World or mailer from the 14th June, and fill it with non-perishable goods”.
Or, bring a can or two to church on Sunday, or to either of the Village offices. Donations that really help best are – cans of baked beans, spaghetti, soup and fruit. Cereal, toothpaste, soap and sanitary items.

A documentary/movie on the Camino walk – “Camino Skies” begins screening in Christchurch next week. “Six strangers from New Zealand and Australia between the ages of 50 and 80 set off on an inspirational trek along the Camino de Santiago, each hoping to overcome the personal and physical trauma that life has dealt them. Some will be undertaking the Camino for the first time. Others know all too well how arduous their previous journey was, but have nonetheless chosen to return.” English and French with English subtitles. Another chance to experience a little of the journey Martin and Anne undertook!
