The Village Prayer Chain:  We are looking to re-start The Village prayer chain.  This is a group of people who are contacted whenever a request for prayer in the parish is made.  This is done discreetly and with confidentiality.  If you are interested in being someone who is part of this, please contact Dan.  Once this is up and running, we will communicate how you are able to make use of this ministry if you wish.

Today – “Kilts, Celts, and Cornets”  Sunday 1st September at 5.00pm – The St Albans Community Choir and The New Brighton Silver Band invite you to their concert.  Admission by donation to a local charity.  A light supper will be served at the conclusion of the concert.  St Paul’s Church, 1 Harewood Road.

“Meet the Candidates”  Sunday 15th September 2019 at 7.00pm at the Village Bryndwr – an invitation has been extended to the 13 candidates who are standing for election in the Fendalton / Waimairi and Harewood wards as City Councillor or Community Board member, to come and speak to the people of our community.  They have been invited to give a five-minute address on “What I have to offer as a City Councillor/Board member” and to outline the values which have motivated them to stand for elected office.  There will be a time for questions from the floor.  David Coster will be moderating the meeting.
