The Village Prayer Team: If you or someone you know would benefit from having some prayer support then please feel free to send your requests to firstname.lastname@example.org and the team will spring into action. (You can be assured of confidentiality). There is also a box for you to pop any requests in, available on Sundays at our 10am service. If you are attending a Rangi Ruru service and have a prayer need, please place it in an envelope to go in the offering basket. It will be passed on to the prayer team.
Anne and Martin on leave: Revs Anne and Martin are away from 27 Jan to 11 Feb. (This combines their ¾ time leave for both months). Any ministry enquiries during that time should go to Rev Dan Spragg.
Citizens Advice Bureau: Want to help? A course for new volunteers begins soon (March 2020).
Our volunteers have the support of a comprehensive database and extensive training. They are trained to interview clients and research the options that are available. This may also include referring someone to another agency if they need access to on-going support and advocacy services.
We offer information on anything from consumer rights, to family issues, to tenancy and flatting problems. Use your skills and experience to help others in the community.
We not only help members of the community, but also provide a mentally stimulating and rewarding experience for our volunteers.
