Music Moments Assistance:  Come and join us for music, play and fun with pre-schoolers on a Monday morning. A great way to start the week.  We are looking for more people to go on the roster for Music Moments at Papanui 9.15 to 11am on Mondays during the school term.  Once per term, monthly or more frequently – up to you.  Contact Christine Arnold.

Women’s Fellowship Catch-up Morning Tea:  To start the year off, a catch-up over coffee is planned for Friday 28 February at 10.30 at “The Preservatory”, 247 Waimari Road. Just turn up or if transport is required please phone Catherine McKellar. All welcome.

The Village Prayer Team:            If you or someone you know would benefit from having some prayer support then please feel free to send your requests to and the team will spring into action. (You can be assured of confidentiality).  There is also a box for you to pop any requests in, available on Sundays at our 10am service.

Indoor Bowls 2020:  Our two indoor bowls groups would like to advise their start dates, and welcome any newcomers who might like to ‘have a go’ …

At Bryndwr the season begins on Monday 2nd March, arrive by 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.

At Papanui the season begins on Friday 6th March, arrive by 1.15pm for a 1.30pm start.

No previous playing experience required – come along for a fun social night.  Please wear flat, soft-soled shoes (eg sneakers).

Village Market:  Our next market (along with the clothing shop) will be Saturday 7th March.  Donations of household goods, games and puzzles, books and clothing etc always welcome.  Pick up can be arranged (especially for large items).  Phone either Bryndwr or Papanui office for assistance, or simply drop your donations in.  Thank you!

Dance with Bill:  Bill would like to extend a welcome to anyone who would like to join the dance he offers at the Village Papanui, on the 2nd and 4th Sunday each month.  $5 a time, from 1.30pm.  For more information phone Tracey at the Papanui office.

World Day of Prayer: Friday 6th March  You are invited to join in worship and fellowship at a local church.

St Barnabas Church, cnr Fendalton Road and Tui Street, 7.00pm (with supper to follow).

Your 2020 offerings will contribute towards these projects:

Christian World Service partner, the Dabane Trust, Bulawayo, Matabeleland, Zimbabwe: The Trust works with rural communities in arid and semi-arid regions of southern and western Zimbabwe. To a project set up by the Bible Society of Zimbabwe which supports disabled children and their mothers who suffer from discrimination.

And, to the Interchurch Council for Hospital Chaplaincy which provides Chaplaincy services in hospitals throughout New Zealand.
