The Village Prayer Team: If you or someone you know would benefit from having some prayer support then please feel free to send your requests to firstname.lastname@example.org and the team will spring into action. (You can be assured of confidentiality). There is also a box for you to pop any requests in, available on Sundays at our 10am service.
Thursday Hour: A social hour held on the first Thursday each month at the Village Bryndwr. Nibbles provided, byo drinks. Thursday 5th March at 5pm.
Book Stall: Our monthly (second Sunday of each month) ‘after Worship’ Book Stall happens 8th March at St Andrew’s College Chapel. If you are having a clean out of books and magazines we would appreciate your donation.
Our monthly Village Market happens on Saturday 7th March at Bryndwr. The set-up team are in on Friday at 1pm and there is always room for a few more helpers. Also, if you have any things you are happy to pass on to the market please leave them with Deirdre or phone her to arrange pick up on Friday morning.
Indoor Bowls 2020: Our two indoor bowls groups would like to advise their start dates, and welcome any newcomers who might like to ‘have a go’ …
At Bryndwr the season begins on Monday 16th March, arrive by 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.
At Papanui the season begins this week on Friday 6th March. Arrive by 1.15pm for a 1.30pm start.
No previous playing experience required – come along for a fun social night. Please wear flat, soft-soled shoes (eg sneakers).
Lilliput Libraries: Our libraries at Bryndwr and Papanui continue to prove popular with our local communities, meaning frequent additions are needed. There are collection boxes in front of both our offices where you are able to leave donations of books in good condition. Non-fiction and fiction welcomed for both children and adults. Thank you!
