Quiz Night – Friday 16 October at The Village Papanui, starting at 6pm. Teams of no more than six can be arranged ahead or made up on the night. Please don’t be put off coming if you don’t have a team arranged in advance! A koha to help with the costs of the pizza tea would be appreciated, we envisage that $8 a head would cover this. Please let Tracey or Deirdre know if you, or anyone in your team, has any dietary requirements. There will be prizes and a quilt to be raffled. Please bring your friends!
The Village Prayer Team: If you or someone you know would benefit from having some prayer support then please feel free to send your requests to firstname.lastname@example.org and the team will spring into action. (You can be assured of confidentiality). There is also a box for you to pop any requests in available at each Service (Sunday and Thursday).

This gathering time offers a safe space to acknowledge these hurts and take steps to “live freely and lightly” by (re)connecting with God. Koha appreciated. Contact Megan Blakie for more information.
The Village Annual Meeting will be held on 18 October 2020. Nominations for positions on the parish council must be received by today, 4 October. Please see Lisa Mitchell for a form, or email email@example.com for more information.
