Food donations for Burnside Primary School families in need can be brought to Bryndwr or Papanui offices – or placed in the basket at Bryndwr each Sunday at 10am.  Suggestions: breakfast cereal, tins of fruit, spaghetti and baked beans, biscuits, tea, coffee, pasta and rice.  Also appreciated are soap, toothpaste, laundry powder and general cleaning products, shampoo and dishwashing liquid.  Thank you for your support.

Christmas Card workshop:  A workshop to make cards for Christmas will be held at the Creative Nest on Tuesday November 3 at 10am.

Basic materials, envelopes, cardboard, glue, some stickers, old cards to cut up, and rubber stamps etc will be available but feel free to bring your own materials if you prefer.  Everyone welcome.  A gold coin koha would help to keep resources maintained.

Annual General Meeting of Presbyterian Women Aotearoa NZ is being held by ‘zoom’ on Saturday 5 December.  9.30am to 10.30am.  A zoom link will be provided – email if you are interested in joining the meeting.

Rental request – 2 bedrooms: we have received a request from a mother (and teenage daughter) who are moving to Christchurch and need to find a home to rent.  They are looking for a one or two bedroom flat, or a three bedroom home (and they would have either a professional working person or a student living with them).  Required from late December or early January.  References available including one from the Minister of their Presbyterian Church.  They would enjoy being in a home with a garden to look after.
