Rev. Robert Simpson introduces his new book – “The Ripple Effect” – an exciting look at the Twenty-Third Psalm!  This is free!

The simple power of King David’s psalms never fails to reaffirm the presence of the guiding hand of God, but it has also many personal truths that have been the author’s experiences including being resident in Ngaio Marsh Retirement Village.  Go on, take one or two of The Ripple Effect!  It may be the very thing that you are after!  Contact Rev. Robert for information on how to obtain a copy.

Bryndwr Community Garden ‘harvest festival’: Sat. April 17 at Morley Reserve, 12-1.30pm.

We are very excited to have this festival as a place for the community to come for a fun, family friendly event, before winter comes! We are hosting a ‘crop swap’, a place where you can bring any excess crops from your own garden, and gain some wonderful ones from someone else’s. Veges, fruit, seedlings …

There will also be a bouncy castle, ‘giant’ games, a BBQ and craft for the kids. We will be doing some planting in the community garden plots!  If wet, postponed to the next day, Sunday 18 April at the same time.

Friendly Circle Lunch:  Tuesday 13 April (at the Richards’ home at 12 noon.  All are welcome to come for a provided lunch and warm company – please phone to rsvp for catering purposes.  Jennifer or Pat.
