Vanuatu focus, Sunday May 9: Our worship today has a focus on Vanuatu to help us in our support of the rebuilding following Cyclone Harold in 2020. As part of the offering during the service, there will be a chance for you to give towards our fundraising efforts aimed at contributing to a new roof at Tata School. Please place these in a clearly marked envelope. (you will also see that there is information about giving to this cause in the recent Village News if you would prefer to make your donation online). Remember that these donations are eligible for the government tax credit so please be sure to clearly record your name.
Foot Clinics: For those booked in a reminder that our next clinics are Thursday 13 and Friday 14 May. If you need to check whether you are booked in please phone Deirdre at the Bryndwr office, 351 6664.
Pastoral workers: We are looking for two people who might be interested in assisting the ministry team in their pastoral work. The hours would be four each week, for each person, with a fortnightly catch up with the minister with primary responsibility for pastoral work.
If you are interested in knowing more, please contact Rev Anne Stewart firstname.lastname@example.org
Te Reo: We have been given the opportunity to host a series of Te Reo classes taught by a local Māori Language teacher. If you are interested in participating in these classes can you please send a quick email to Dan, email@example.com indicating your general availability throughout the week.
