Christchurch Methodist Mission ‘Soap for Hope’ fundraising campaign The Mission are building a playground for the children who live at the Guild Street Housing Community to give the families a place to gather – they offer an easy way to support them by buying bars of handcrafted fragranced soap – details can be viewed at:-https://www.mmsi.org.nz/soapforhope
St Aidan’s Amazing Talent Auction: As you know we have been hosting the congregation of St Aidan’s in Bryndwr for several months while their church is undergoing major repair and rebuilding work. They are fundraising to buy a new piano and audio-visual equipment – on Friday June 25 they are holding a ‘Talent Auction’ – tickets are $5 per person or $20 per family and include nibbles and a drink on entry. Doors open (at the Village Papanui) at 6.30pm and the Auction begins at 7.00pm.
