Our Papanui office is no longer open on Wednesday – the office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday – 9.30am to 12pm.
Small groups: There has been for some time a feeling within the parish that it would be good for us to have some ‘small groups’ in our midst. The purpose of these typically is to share the journey down the road of faith and life with one another in a smaller setting.
We are fortunate to now have some people who are willing to host and lead a group and are putting the word out for those who think they might like to be part of a group. We have a number of ideas in mind so these groups strike a balance between being ‘lightweight’ and meaningful. If you would like to join a group or find out some more information, please let Dan know. We are aiming to begin in Term 3.
Giving to The Village: Some wonderful things happen through The Village, and people giving financially is an important way to support both our church activities and the initiatives we run to serve our communities. An offering is made available during our Sunday worship but you are also welcome to give by automatic payment or envelope which means you can claim a tax credit of 33% for your donation. Please contact Keren R. or Donella D. for more information.
School Holiday break: A reminder that many of our regular activities take a break during the holidays – this week and next – term three begins Monday 26 July.
Friendly Circle Lunch: Tuesday 13 July at midday – newcomers very welcome to join our friendly group for lunch. Phone Jennifer or Pat for information or to rsvp (for catering).
