June birthdays:  It is time for those with a June birthday (and their significant other) to celebrate together over a pot luck lunch.

Sunday June 19th – The home of Lesley and Murray C. – 12 midday or come straight from church.  Please come if that is you.  If you haven’t celebrated your June birthday with us before we would love to see you.

Lion King movie postponed

Unfortunately, the movie planned for Sunday 5 June has had to be postponed.  Our new date is SATURDAY June 25th, 3.50pm for a 4pm start (finishing at 6.30pm).

Cheese Rolls Cheese Rolls Cheese Rolls!  Sincere thanks to all who helped with the making of cheese rolls last week. A cheerful group chatted well and worked hard as they made 350 packs. We hope those who bought the rolls are happy with their purchases.

Kiwi Church, are inviting those in their Presbytery whanau to join them for a morning tea on Tuesday 14 June 10.30am.  As Darryl told us on 29 May they have leased a site at 75 Hansons Lane and they are currently exploring ways it could be used to participate in God’s mission and serve the wider church and the city.  If you would like to attend, maybe we could fill some cars, but please rsvp to Darryl,  d.tempero@xtra.co.nz  or 027 556 0055.

The preparation of the Duty roster for the period July to September has begun. The roster duties are as follows, Welcoming, Reading, Counting and Serving morning tea after the service.

We desperately need volunteers for counting money and for serving morning tea.  Please let Tracey know by the 20 of June 2022, the duties you are able to assist with, and the days that you will NOT be available for the period July to September.  I appreciate the support received in the past.
