Introducing – Sabrina
A very warm welcome to Sabrina, our new administrator at Bryndwr! Make sure you pop in and say hi some time. The office hours remain the same. (Noted in the last page of the order of service each week).
Sunday 9th October – Kirkin O’The tartan: The Kirkin O’The tartan service is to be held at The Village Church Bryndwr on 9th October at 10am – people are invited to wear or bring their tartan to be blessed. Rev Hamish Galloway is the Minister taking the Service. The Clans will be in attendance and piped in. Any questions please call Ruth C.
School Holidays: Mon 3rd October to Mon 17th October. Many of our groups take a break during this time.
Dan will give a presentation and invite questions and discussion on his study leave material, Towards Simplicity, Harmony, and Generally Being Useful, on 30th October, 6pm in the hall at Bryndwr. You can find the report published in the latest Village News.
Eco Church Kōrero: Ending Plastic Waste – our part in a global movement

The UN Global Plastics Treaty is one of the most significant international agreements dealing with plastic waste.
A Rocha New Zealand (which runs the Eco Church project to which the Village is a member) invites you to learn about and join in this global movement. Hosted by Rev Silvia Purdie with support from Megan Blakie and Karen Weir.

AGM Date: The Village Church & Community Centre AGM will be held on Sunday 16th October, beginning with morning tea following the service, with the official ‘meeting’ kicking off at 11:30am. This allows people who are coming from other services time to travel in between. Parish Council nominations should be given to David Brown or Frances Coburn by 2nd October.
