Donate to The Village
By giving to The Village Church or Community Centre you enable us to fulfil the vision that we believe God has led us to. The donations you make will contribute towards general running expenses of the Church and Community Centre including staffing, equipment, resources and buildings for our activities and programmes.
The Village Presbyterian Church (which incorporates the Community Centre) is a registered charity under the New Zealand Charities Act 2005.
Donation Number
We encourage those who are regularly making donations to obtain a donation number, which will enable us to give you a tax receipt at the end of the financial year. Please include your donation number with all your payments to ensure you receive your tax receipt. Currently the IRD allows you to claim a portion of this back by filing a donation tax credit form for any donation of $5 or more. For a donation number, please email donate@villagechurch.nz or phone the office on 03 3526197.

Other Ways to Give
At our gatherings each Sunday we collect cash donations as well as donations of food and general grocery items. We regularly distribute these to help families at Burnside Primary School, Northcote School, and to the Christchurch Methodist Mission.
Are you making a will? If you are, would you consider leaving a legacy to the future work of the church?
We are grateful for the generosity of all who give to support God’s work in our communities and will continue to seek to be good stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us.
