World Day of Prayer: You’re welcome to join in an ecumenical service to mark the World Day of Prayer, focusing this year on Nigeria. Hosted by St Margaret’s Presbyterian Bishopdale on Friday 6 March 1-2pm. Followed by afternoon tea.

Easter eggs for Pillars: As we have done in previous years, we are collecting Easter eggs to be given to Pillars who distribute them to the children of prisoners. Eggs can be brought to worship services up until Thursday March 19th, or left in the collection boxes at the offices at Bryndwr and Papanui. For information about Pillars, go to www.pillars.org.nz
The 2026 Directory: Tracey will be printing a new edition of our Directory, to be delivered with the Village News later in March. If you could please check your details in the 2025 edition, and let her know of any changes needed, by Friday 6 March that would be appreciated. We are looking for more volunteers for the foot clinic, particularly those who could cut the toenails, and massagers. At present we are struggling to have enough helpers to do the clinics. These are approximately every six weeks with the next one on March 19 and 20. We usually have between 50 and 60 clients over the two days. We are considering cutting back to one day every 6 weeks because of the shortage of helpers. Some of our volunteers do the two days and some do one. If you think this is something you could help with, please let me or Lesley know. Janice
