Baptism Service – Thursday 25th September, 7pm at the Village Bryndwr – all welcome: We’re delighted to be able to share an invitation to an upcoming Baptism service for two young people, connected to our youth group, Adrianna and Charlotte.

AGM This year’s AGM is planned to be on Sunday 5 October, following the service. This is also an opportunity to consider if God is calling you to serve as part of the Parish Council. Feel free to chat to Luke, Josh, Joy or any member of the Parish Council if you would like to explore this.
Nominations for Parish Council: If you’re considering serving as part of our Parish Council, nomination forms (for you and the person nominating you) are available from the Bryndwr and Papanui offices.
Community Planting Day at Nepal Reserve in Burnside:
Monday 29 September from 10am to 2pm (drop in anytime, stay as long you like). This is the 2nd phase of native planting, with around 1,600 plants to go in. A free sausage sizzle from 11.30am. Bring a drink bottle, sturdy shoes and weather-ready clothes. All tools and gloves are provided. The reserve is off Westpark Drive – look out for the ‘volunteers at work’ sign).
September/October Birthdays: A big thank you to Ruth and Bruce who have offered to host this birthday occasion. The date will be in October, so watch this space for the details. If you haven’t been to a birthday celebration before, please do consider it. It is lovely to share hospitality in a smaller group.
