Changes at the Village
As most of you will be aware, David Brown has stepped down from the role of Parish Clerk. We thank David for his leadership during his time as Parish Clerk, and for his on-going service to The Village Church by continuing to be a member of Parish Council. At the Parish Council meeting on 14 November, Joy Kingsbury-Aitken was appointed the new Parish Clerk.
Parish Council wishes to advise the members of The Village Church that the Rev. Dan Spragg has accepted a call to a new Presbytery role, and will be taking up this new position in February. Dan’s last service at The Village will be on Sunday 28 January 2024. We ask for God’s blessings on Dan as he faces the challenges of this new Presbytery rol

The offices at Papanui and Bryndwr will be closed from Friday, December 22, and will be open again on Monday 15 January.
Dan is on leave from December 26 – January 21.
Dan’s final service with us will be on January 28.
Josh is on leave from December 26 – January 14.
