Thank you to all who generously supported the ‘clothes for the needy’ initiative last Sunday. All the garments and blankets were sold and $180 was given towards costs incurred at the weekly breakfasts. Your support is appreciated.
Table Talk presents: Thriving in this Land by Common Grace Aotearoa. This is a three-part workshop series designed to help faith communities join the dots between following Jesus and some of the big issues New Zealand is facing. These sessions explore how as a nation we can address poverty and the cost of living, responding to our unstable climate, and honouring the Treaty. The sessions allow participants to engage with theology, and hear from experts and people on the ground, making it possible to imagine and discuss how to work towards a nation where everyone has enough, our earth is protected, and our promises are kept. http://commongrace.nz/thriving

Several of our foot clinic volunteers will be away on holiday for our next foot clinic on Friday 7 August. I am looking for someone to help with the cups of teas and someone to fill, empty and sanitise the Footbaths. You would need to be there from 1pm until approximately 4pm. Any help would be appreciated. Please contact Janice or Lesley.
