Weekly Prayer @ the Chapel – Tuesday, 9am-9.30am.

Prayers of the People: Would you consider bringing Prayers for Others occasionally for our Sunday Service? Often this time of intercessory prayer is known as the ‘Prayers of the People’, where people from the congregation will lead prayers for the world, our community and ourselves. It’s a wonderful privilege to give voice to the prayers we carry for others. If you’d like to know more, have a chat with Luke.

AGM This year’s AGM is planned to be on Sunday 18th October, following the service. Any matters of General Business to be raised, please send to the Parish Clerk in writing (email is fine: clerk@villagechurch.nz) by Tuesday 13th October.

Nominations for Parish Council: If you’re considering serving as part of our Parish Council, please use the nomination forms available at the Bryndwr and Papanui offices.  These need to be returned to the Parish Clerk by Tuesday 13th October.

Curious about this Parish Council thing? Our Parish Council is responsible for the Spiritual oversight, pastoral care, and leadership of our Church, working to ensure we are a vibrant, worshiping and active faith community, and taking care of all the things needed, like property, finance and administration, to support it all. If you’d like to know more about what being part of our Parish Council involves, don’t be afraid to chat to Luke, Joy or any of our Parish Councillors: Jane, Kate, Liam, Linda, David, Claire, Alistair, Judiths, or Keren.

A copy of the Annual Report has been sent by email to all those we have an email address for.  If you don’t use email, please ask for a printed copy from either the Bryndwr or the Papanui office.  The financial statements are also being emailed, and for those who need a printed copy, we ask you to make contact with Judith.
