Clothing Shop
Thank you very much for the many donations of clothing that have arrived in the shop recently. We really do appreciate your support as we like having a good range of clothes for our customers.
Now we have been asked if we can provide warm clothes and blankets for people, mostly men, without stable housing. Wayne from our congregation helps a church group provide breakfast for between twenty and thirty at Cathedral Square Sunday mornings. Winter is an extra hard time for them.
To help with this request we will have a rack of clothing for these folk at church after the service next Sunday, the 19th July, that can be sponsored for $5 per item. Cash or a card. Thank you for supporting this initiative.
New sermon series: Meeting God on the Road
On 19 July we are starting a series looking at time scripture where people encounter God on the road, 4:30pm at the Manse, followed by soup and buns. If you’re interested let Luke know.
Alpine Presbytery Retreat – Hanmer Springs 25th-27th July
