Our Sunday Worship will be held at our Papanui building, with Service beginning at 10am, followed by a celebration morning tea. Please bring a small contribution of morning tea food; that would be appreciated.
There will be an opportunity to find out more about what is happening with the Papanui Initiative and to have a look at the spaces they are working in—queries to Rev. David Coster.
Notice of Congregational Meeting: Following the special service at Papanui on 21 July there will be a short congregational meeting to confirm the terms of call and ministry expectations for the vacant position, and to ratify the updated Parish Profile. These documents will be sent out to members following the Parish Council meeting next Tuesday, and paper copies will be available at the Bryndwr and Papanui offices for those who do not have internet connections. The Parish Profile will also be published on the church’s website. There will also be an update on our building insurance.
A Note From the Hospitality Team: Many thanks to you all for your assistance in making our 5th Sunday of the month feast so successful. We appreciate your willingness to pitch in on the day and of course your contributions to the table!
We are hoping somebody is willing to host the July/August birthday potluck meal. These meals always go well and are a good way to chat with a smaller group. If you can offer this hospitality, please let Kath or Lesley know. Thank you.
Foot Clinic: We are in need of more volunteers to assist with the (6 weekly) foot clinic. If you know anyone who could help with cutting toenails (training is given) please let Janice Cundall or Lesley Compton know. Other volunteers check people in, massage, empty foot baths, serve afternoon tea and generally make people feel welcome. It is a great service to our community.
