5th Sunday Celebration Feast:
Sunday 30th June is the date for our next Celebration Feast – we do hope you can be with us. That weekend is the celebration of Matariki, so a great opportunity to be together.
The hospitality team request that those of you with a surname beginning A to Mc bring a salad, and the rest of you bring a dessert. Thank you.
The programme for the morning will be the usual 5th Sunday organisation with coffee and chat from 10am, Church Serrvice beginning at 10.30am, and the feast to follow. HOPE YOU CAN COME.
Worship Service on Sunday 30th June: Do you enjoy poetry? Writing? Would you like to lead a small group during the service, to create an acrostic poem or … ?
Do you enjoy gentle and quiet reflection? Would you like to lead a small group to remember and give thanks for those who have died?
Are you inspired by growing things from seed? Would you like to lead a small group to plant seeds?

Matariki: You might like to watch ‘God within Matariki’ which is set in Dunedin (Otepoti). You can find it through Sky TV’s website. Flagstaff Community Church (Presbyterian) features in the programme. Some beautiful photography too.

Our Sunday Worship will be held at our Papanui building, with Service beginning at 10am, followed by a celebration meal.
There will be an opportunity to find out more about what is happening with the Papanui Initiative and to have a look at the spaces they are working in.

Foot Clinic: We need more volunteers to assist with the (6 weekly) foot clinic. If you know anyone who could help with toenails (training is given) please let Janice C. or Lesley C. know. Other volunteers check people in, massage, empty foot baths, serve afternoon tea and generally make people feel welcome. It is a great service to our community.
