Congregational Meeting: Following the service today there will be a congregational meeting to confirm the terms of call and ministry expectations for the vacant position, and to ratify the updated Parish Profile. There will also be an update on our building insurance.
Playful Generations – Community Drop-in: Join us any time between 9.30 and 11am, Thursdays, during term time. Entry by Gold coin donation, which gives you a ‘token’ for a hot drink, and there will be a craft or activity for you to enjoy if you wish. Located in the Creative Nest, at the Village Papanui.

A Note From the Hospitality Team: Many thanks for your assistance in making our 5th Sunday of the month feast so successful. We appreciate your willingness to pitch in on the day and your contributions to the table.
We are hoping somebody is willing to host the July/August birthday potluck meal. These meals always go well and are a good way to chat with a smaller group. If you can offer this hospitality, please let Kath or Lesley know. Thank you.
Foot Clinic: We need more volunteers to assist with the (6 weekly) foot clinic. If you know anyone who could help cut toenails (training is given), please let Janice or Lesley know. Other volunteers check people in, massage, empty foot baths, serve afternoon tea, and make people feel welcome. It is a great service to our community.
A Thought for Food: We need more donations for the Burnside Primary School food parcels – we would appreciate it if everyone could please bring an item to our Service on Sunday 28 July. Term 3 is starting and we need the following items: pasta sauce, pasta, rice, canned vegetables, spreads (peanut butter, jam, marmite) tea, coffee, milo, baked beans, and canned spaghetti. If everyone chips in, we can fill hungry bellies! Thank you for your help!
