As a fundraiser for CWS we are running a family-friendly movie event.
Sunday 31st May (King’s Birthday weekend), 3.45pm for a 4pm start.Finish time – 6.30pm – at The Village Papanui.
Pizza dinner, snacks and dessert will be provided. If you have any dietary preferences, please let us know. Any koha received (for the food) will be donated to Christian World Service.
Please come along and bring your friends and family. If you think you are coming please let us know for catering purposes. If you have any questions, please contact Annie or Kate B. See you there!
The Village News: “It’s time for me to start working on the June newsletter – and once again I am looking for contributions.
It’s our Winter edition, and in addition to a roundup of church news, I was wondering – what are your favourite Winter activities? For example, if you are a reader, what do you enjoy reading? If there is a book or author that you particularly enjoy – maybe write a short review! If you sew, draw or paint, take a picture and email it to me with some words. If you write, send a poem! If you’re a keen cook – I would love to share some of your favourite Winter recipes. I look forward to hearing from you! Email your contributions to Hannie by the end of May.”
