Playful Generations – Community Drop-in:  Join us any time between 9.30 and 11am, Thursdays, during term time.  Entry by Gold coin donation, which gives you a ‘token’ for a hot drink, and there will be a craft or activity for you to enjoy if you wish. Located in the Creative Nest, at the Village Papanui.

July and August Birthday Celebration:

Ellen and Graeme are hosting the combined July/August event on Sunday 4 August, please contact Ellen and Graeme for more information.

The Foot Clinic is urgently looking for someone to help out with the Footbaths next Friday 9 August.  We have two of our regular volunteers who do the Footbaths away on holiday which is making it difficult to cover both Thursday and Friday.  You will be shown what is required and a couple of the regular volunteers will help out.  There is some lifting involved.  If you think you could help could you please contact Janice or Lesley.

Active Canterbury: ‘Walk n Talk’ now leaves from the Papanui library, Wednesday each week at 1pm for a 40 minute flat walk. 

A Thought for Food:  We are in need of more donations to the Burnside Primary School food parcels.  We need the following items: pasta sauce, pasta, rice, canned vegetables, spreads (peanut butter, jam, marmite) tea, coffee, milo, baked beans and canned spaghetti.  If everyone chips in, we can fill hungry bellies!  Thank you for your help.
