Notices 6 – 13 August

Final Service of Worship:  A final service of worship in the St Luke’s building in Redwood will be held on 27th August at 10am. The service will be a time to celebrate the many years of worship and fellowship that has been present on this site.  Anyone who wishes to join the congregation of Redwood on this day is welcome. Morning tea will follow the service.

The Village Presbyterian Church Annual General Meeting – Following worship on Sunday September 10 at approx. 11.15am.

Apologies for those unable to be there,  can be made to Sabrina at Bryndwr or Tracey at Papanui.

Kids Club is on each Monday 3-5pm.  If you have children or grandchildren that would like to join the Kid’s Club, you can get a registration form from the office, or contact Kate B or Dan.  We are looking for adult leaders to help volunteer, a flexible arrangement is fine.  We are in need of someone to run the kitchen in August – (or different people on a roster during that time).

Harmony Waitaha presents Southern Stars – A celebration of unaccompanied singing by the Choruses and Quartets of Harmony Waitaha (“The Plainsmen”, “Quantum Acoustics”, “Promenade” and more). The concert features diverse groups of singers performing a wide range of music. Aldersgate is an inspiring venue with wonderful acoustics. Aldersgate Centre, 309 Durham Street.  Saturday 12 August 7pm.  Doors open at 6.30pm.

Grant M. and Ian S. are singing with the Chorus of 45, The Canterbury Plainsmen. (Music to be performed at the Pan Pacific Convention in Auckland).
