Offering Receipts & Tax credits for donations – The end-of-financial-year receipts are now available. If you would like an IRD tax credit form, to fill in to claim 33.33 cents for every dollar you donated in the last year, we have copies available at each office.
Cleaning at Bryndwr – We are without a cleaner at Bryndwr for the next few weeks while Adrienne is unavailable. Can we please ask that all groups take an extra minute or two to ensure they leave the spaces clean and tidy, ready for the next group? Many thanks, Dan.
Village Prayers- Praying together for God’s life amongst us and our communities is an important rhythm in our week. We meet on Thursday mornings at 8am in the Chapel at Bryndwr for this. Anyone is welcome to join. We are usually finished by 8:30am. If you have questions, talk with Dan.
Women’s Fellowship is meeting on Friday 26 May at the home of Hannie from 2 p.m. Everyone is most welcome. Ring Hannie if you have any questions. Please bring a small plate of something delicious to share.
Pink Ribbon Breakfast- Come along for some food, fun, and a bit of pampering. I am hosting a gratitude event on Saturday, 20 May at 11am, showcasing the non-toxic hair/skincare line I have partnered with. The event is combined with a Pink Ribbon Breakfast to spread awareness about Breast Cancer while also giving back. Product demonstrations, samples, and a raffle to win a free facial or hair wash. Donations and product purchases are encouraged but NOT required to come along and show your support. Brochures are available at Bryndwr. Congregational Meetings –
Notice is given of Congregational Meetings to decide on the following motion:
‘That The Village set the insurance for the buildings at Bryndwr and Papanui, and for the Manses at Truman Road and Virtue Place at ‘Reinstatement (or Replacement)’ cover, and that the insurance for the building at Redwood be set at ‘Indemnity’ cover.’
Reinstatement (or Replacement) Insurance Cover: provides cover for repairs or replacement of the building as new.
Indemnity Insurance Cover: provides cover to put the congregation in the same position it was in before any loss, allowing for the depreciation of the building. It will not provide the funds to totally reinstate the building in the event of loss.
Meetings will be held following worship on the following dates: Sunday 28th May at Bryndwr, Thursday 1st June at Papanui following the Midweek Service, and Sunday 4th June at Redwood.
