Playful Generations – If anyone has any spare bits and bobs lying around in the shed that we can use for a toddler busy board, we would appreciate them! Things like latches, switches, hinges, door stops, PVC pipe or anything a toddler would find interesting (and safe for them to play with) that we can attach to a piece of plywood. If possible, deliver to the Village Papanui on a Monday or Thursday, otherwise to the Village Bryndwr, where Layka can pick them up. Thank you.
Most of us know and love the New Zealand songs written by Shirley Murray. Author Anne Manchester has written Shirley Murray’s biography, Peace is Her Song: the life and legacy of Shirley Erena Murray, which will have a special launch at Knox Church Centre Hall on 20 October at 5pm. This will be a musical celebration of Shirley’s life and gifts. Books will be on sale for $50.00.
