A Village Presbyterian Church celebration, Sunday 21st July

Our Sunday Worship will be held at our Papanui building, with Service beginning at 10am, followed by a celebration meal.
There will be an opportunity to find out more about what is happening with the Papanui Initiative and to have a look at the spaces they are working in.

Foot Clinic: We are in need of more volunteers to assist with the (6 weekly) foot clinic. If you know anyone who could help with the cutting of toenails (training is given) please let Janice or Lesley know. Other volunteers check people in, massage, empty foot baths, serve afternoon tea, and generally make people feel welcome. It is a great service to our community.
The Village Market Each first Saturday of the month in our Bryndwr building, we run a pop-up market. It continues to be a place where people gather to buy, catch up, donate, or just hang out together. There is a group who meet to knit & chat and there’s great coffee available.
The market has a focus of good quality second-hand household goods, toys, books; and from time to time, baking, jams, plants, and our existing pre-loved clothing shop.
As with our clothing shop, we rely on the community to donate goods. Please do let us know if you’re having a cleanout, downsizing or simply having a change around, we are happy to pick up & collect! Please contact the Bryndwr Office at 351 6664 for more information.
Thursday Hour: All welcome to join in a social hour at the Village Bryndwr, first Thursday of the month, 5pm. We provide the nibbles, byo drinks.
